This amazing novel by Karen Hesse shows the long journey that 12 year old Rifka takes to try to get to america. After her hard work will they let her in to see her 5 older brothers and mama & papa? You must read this book!!!!!!!!!!!!! its AWESOME

I read this book for school, and it was amazing! It shows how a Russian-Jewish girl is forced to leave her home and survives hardships in order to come to America.
