This book is really good, both as a read aloud and as a read by yourself book. It shows what it really means to be clever and it really shows the epitome of being Jewish. 5 stars for this book!

This book is fantastic! I could not put it down. It explained her whole journey and kept me interested the whole time. It made me think more about my families journey from Germany. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I love this book it is sad but so great rifka is brave

Letters from Rifka is about a family traveling from Russia to New York, America. She has many troubles through her trip, including ringworm, and the typhus. She was forced to stay in a special hospital. Along the way, she made many friends. It was a pretty scary book, and I would recommend anyone 10 and up to read the book. Happy Reading!!
