When I started making friends, I had a trouble speaking up for myself and I have to say, I'm still not that good, plus, I'm also Russian/jewish and some people can be... Well, not nice about it. I am thankful for my friends and some other people who accepted me as I am. My bar mitzvah is still far away but I'm thinking of volunteering at an animal shelter. I love animals. This book really connected with me, and I am so glad I read it. Also, 1 of my friends are muslim and I feel like some people think that's wrong but that's never stopped us. I don't think we should be ashamed of who we are. If someone doesn't like you because of your religion, their loss.
