I liked the book When We Had Wings. It is about a Jewish family and how they stayed together and helped each other. The story was interesting and made me think about being kind and brave. My favorite part was how everyone cared for each other. I think this is a good book because it teaches us about family, hope, and helping others.

You have to read this book,it's so good you can use it to tune out your parents if you want to and there giving you a boring task to do that's what my parents do.

I liked it but I felt that there was to much going on in one moment and that the story made no sense. For me it felt that the author did not talk about the past as much as they should. It also had a very complex plot and that meeting the cameraman was a bit hard to understand how the cameraman had a part of the story even though it was a big part it made no sense on how he fit in to the story. You go from orphan to author without much in-between. I did like the doctor's impact on the story and how it helped the main character see who he is that is not a thief. I also like how the author described the book so well that it felt that I was in it.
