It's a good book about a Jewish boy who has to leave everything behind when he escapes Germany. This book is all right, but the sequel is a lot better.

So good I bought the next book! It’s full of action, sadness, real history(but also fantasy so it’s not at all boring) and suspense. If I could rate this book higher I would!

this is a must read book that has adventure surprise laughs so if you get a chance to read it you should.

It was overall good when Max leaves Germany and goes to Britain but some parts were slow and there is no real climax in the story.
