This was a good book.
I love “The Secret Tunnel” by Joy Nelkin Wieder a lot. The first reason I like the book is that many exciting things happen. An exciting time is when the tunnel to supply the city with water was finished. There was a celebration. The second reason I love the book is that it is historical fiction. That means that some of the things, places, or people in the story are real. Therefore, you or me could actually visit the tunnel in the story. I think that is awesome. I would like to explore the tunnel some day. “The Secret Tunnel” is one of the best books I have ever read. Name of book: The Secret Tunnel Author: Jay Nelkin Wieder Illustrator: Adam Komosinski Where the story happens: Ancient Israel, Jerushalayim When the Story happens: about 2,500 years ago Main Character: Yonatan, an 11 year old boy Main event: A tunnel is made
I like how most of it is true and how a kid is getting to a lot of more aged things.
I like the part when The general said, do you give up? But the kingdom didn't, because they knew they would win.
It was a very adventurous book. The part I like best about it was, that no one gave up throughout the whole book. And in the end, they succeeded.
