i think that this is a good book for people that like books about the past. its pretty exciting

I liked it mostly the only thing that was not my favorite was how far in the past it was set even though the story is true.

The book could have been longer. And had more detail. Parts of it in the beginning didn't make sense. Story was good enough for 3 stars but I've read better books.

I love “The Secret Tunnel” by Joy Nelkin Wieder a lot. The first reason I like the book is that many exciting things happen. An exciting time is when the tunnel to supply the city with water was finished. There was a celebration. The second reason I love the book is that it is historical fiction. That means that some of the things, places, or people in the story are real. Therefore, you or me could actually visit the tunnel in the story. I think that is awesome. I would like to explore the tunnel some day. “The Secret Tunnel” is one of the best books I have ever read.
