Good book, but the end is somewhat sad/confusing. :/ But it was an overall awesome book, and I would totally recommend it. It was so relatable and felt like something that could happen to me, and the characters were so connectable.
This book is about a girl named Melanie Adler and how she wants to hangout with the cool kids and a new girl at school, Dorit. She also has a friend that doesn’t like Dorit. She also has a mom that has went through a traumatizing experience who is very careful about everything she does. What I love about this book is how she handles everything. Therefore, I give this book a 5 star review!
I LOVED things that shimmer it was a great book! : )
OMG! I loved this book. I love books like this that tell "true" stories. Basically I LOVE realistic fiction. Melenie's life can really help you relate and solve many problems in life. It depends if you agree or disagree with Melenie's decisions. The end was a bit sad, but it teaches you that friends that really understand you might not be there forever, so you should learn to make your own decisions. And that's what this book helps you with!
it is a awesome book with a good lesson. it tells you that your friends truly matter and you cant spend your whole life just ignoring them and chasing after being popular even if the group you want to be in is mean. it was a little sad but I really liked it. totally recommend!!!!
