Holling Hoodhood thinks his teacher, Mrs. Baker hates him. His dad always wants him to be nice, so his architect company is successful. While reading Shakespeare with his teacher, he starts to get interested in these plays(especially the insults!). This amazing book also took place during the Vietnam War.

Not the best I don’t really get the book.

The Wednesday Wars was a great book, but some parts in the middle were slow. I think it is ok if you up for the read.

I really liked the book and I would suggest you read it. Some of it is funny like when he goes to a baseball game with his teacher. I think it was an awesome book and that you should read it.
