I love it all! It's so good and I love that Gabe helps Rill.
This book was great and I would definitely recommend for tweens to read this book. I loved how the author made the point of view go back and forth between Gabe (the 12 year old boy) and Rill (the coyote), and how they both don’t fit in with their families at the beginning of the book. I also thought the author did a really great job at keeping each chapter intriguing, with lots of plot twists and cliff hangers. Overall, this book was great and very relatable to real-life experiences.
I love this book because Gabe does something he shouldn’t have done and then he fixes it by repairing the park.
Personally i love animals and i thought this was an amazing book! I recommend this book!
I was really happy when there was not a long introduction and everything just sort of happened, and it did not take a long time to explain the setting and introduce the characters. It had the perfect amount of introduction. I liked how the story was told that every few chapters it switched between views. One chapter was a view from the coyote, named Rill and one from a 12 year old boy named, Gabe. I also liked the twists turn and surprises in each chapter! Another thing I enjoyed is that the characters were very relatable to young readers in the 10-12 age range. Another thing I enjoyed was that the story is told in a way that seems so real, and you actually feel like you are a part of it. Another thing that was really great was the story itself, you see how Gabe grows and matures and all about the friendship that forms between him and Rill. This book is full of surprises! - Bea, PJ Our Way Design Team
