I loved this book

Review by Doodlebug27

I liked that the main characters both had problems with their families so that when they met each other they had similarities but were unable to speak to each other because one is a coyote and the other a human. If you like fiction and switching narrators this book is for you. I really enjoyed this book!

Review by TerriCherry

Meet Rill. A cayote who is tired of her siblings and parents. She is overwhelmed by her siblings and is annoyed of her parents telling her what the oldest cayote should do-since she lost two of her siblings in a cayote trap. She is so mad,{and eventually, sad}that she jus threw a fit and left her family behind. During the forest fire, she was so scared{and injured} that she climbed into a little cave and is scared that her family probably didn't make it through the fire. Gabe, on the other hand, is dealing with attention problems. His friend,{well, used to be,}Owen, ditched him with another kid, Leo, and flocked with a bully, Taylor. Gabe is so mad that he uses fireworks[yes, he stole them]to grab Owen's and Leo's attention. He accidently shot in a small patch of grass near by[this all took place in a forest]and caused a fire. will Gabe ever pay back by rebuilding the forest? Also, will Rill find her family and be happy? Read This book to find out
