This book was pretty good. It is sort of like poetry, but at the same time, it is a story.
This book had great storyline and character development like when Ellie goes from following along with her mom's borderline child abuse to finally standing up for herself and accepting who she is. This is my fav book so far, will absolutely recomend.
I love this book it is about a girl named Ellie and her struggles about being different in a stereotypical community. You should read this book. It is very good and it’s written in a poetry form 🕎💖🩷🩵
I loved this book because the plot was very interesting. I liked that Ellie finds a friend and I like how the book is written in free verse. It didn't have chapters--more like sections and I liked that. I really liked the character of Ellie's therapist because she was very nice and helped Ellie. I also liked Catalia because she didn't judge Ellie and they became good friends. I would reccomend this book to everyone and thought it was a great book!
This bountiful paradise of a book explores the thoughts and notions of a self-aware tween like none other that I have read. Its poetic format makes Starfish a quick, easy, and fun read. I would really give this 6 stars if I could. Get this book, and do not hesitate.
