Not So Shy was an AWESOME book. My favorite part was when Shai helped Kay-Lee's Dad by panting a mural. I don't remember of they showed the mural in the book, but even if they didn't I believe it was still beautiful, Just like Shia!!

This book is absolutely amazing! Shai is a twelve year old girl, who’s Abba (father) has the family move from Israel to America for his job. Shai is furious with him, and wants nothing more than to go back to her beloved home of Israel, to her friends, school, and her grandparents. She is determined to find a way to get back to Israel, but during her time in America has to learn how to adjust to a whole new life and way of doing things. In the process, makes friends, enemies, and more. And soon, she starts to think of home differently than before… This is a great book that has deep themes, but also funny, light moments. I loved this book

I enjoyed how the book showed how she was shy and had to get comfortable with her new environment and I can relate to it.

this book is so good! At first, I feel awful for Shai, but then her life turns out great! I really like Kay-Lee.
