I loved Not So Shy! My favorite part of this book was when Shai yells, “We are Hebrew speakers in this house!” And I really liked the part when Hakim, Jenny, Chris, and Shai make the DNA out of candies. But my absolute favorite part was when Jenny accuses Shai of stealing Olivia’s phone. I liked it when Safta got the clay hearts from her granddaughters. I love the mural that Shai and Gili make of the ocean with all the sea creatures in Shai’s bedroom. And I love the butterflies on Shai’s cast. 🇮🇱👩🏼‍🎨💜

This book is really good! I love how instead of giving the perspective of someone traveling to Israel, it gives the perspective of someone traveling from Israel to the United States.
