Aviva v.s the Dybbuk is a good book about a modern-day orthodox Jewish girl who's father has passed away. Her mother is responsible for a mikvah, which, if you don't know, is a pool of holy water, and the building it's in right next to the synagogue. And, there's a dybbuk in the mikvah. Now, Aviva is supposed to plan a huge event at her school. She knows that she can easily steer clear of the dybbuk. But then, they realize that there's someone out there messing up things in the neighborhood. And when things escalate, Aviva is pretty sure she knows who's behind all of it. This book is for anybody who likes fantasy or realistic fiction, and it's perfect for ages 8-12. YAY. Read to find out more!
