When chose this book I thought I wouldn't really like it but I was pleasantly surprised. Even though I don't usually like nonfiction books, I really really liked this book. I totally recommend It . So if you don't usually like nonfiction (or even if you do!) I really recommend this for you.

This terrific book celebrates a courageous trailblazer, Ruth Gruber, a journalist who went where nobody else did (including Nazi Germany and the Arctic part of Russia). Not only will you learn about this amazing lady (who lived into her 90s!), but the book also has many historical notes that will help you understand more about her times and places.
