Maple Mehta Cohen is a Jewish Hindu character, she is being held back a year and all of her friends are on 6th grade. Sometimes lies feel better than the truth but only for a wile, will Maple find a way to tell the truth without hurting other’s feelings as well as her self?
This book was relating to many children who have dyslexia.Even though it was a little sad it was still a great book!!!
I loved this book. It is about a dyslexic hin-jew (Indian jew) who gets held back and has to repeat 5th grade. Because of this, she loses her "friends". This book is A+
I liked the twists, the storytelling character, and the friends that Maple had in her fifth grade class. I would not change anything!
