This is a great book. I really enjoyed this book, but I don’t know what it has in common with Judaism.
this book is so good because there are so many plot twists.
I thought it it was a really good book. It made me sad that Aslin treated her like that, but I'm glad Marigold was a good friend. I think maple is a smart kid and having to hide that she couldn't read was really tough but she did a good job and I'm glad she got held back so she could make new friends and see that getting held back is not that bad. Great book really recommend
Maple is a smart kid and a good storyteller, and she's managed to hide the fact that she can't read for five years, until an observant fifth-grade teacher catches on. Now Maple has to repeat fifth grade while her friends move on to middle school. Will they stay friends? This is a realistic presentation of the struggles that kids with dyslexia go through, as well as the fact that their intelligence and other gifts can mask their disability.
I think it was amazing and I did not want it to end
