i read the first 2 chapters and HATED it. its written in the third perspective, so it says things like "you walk over" instead of "i walk over" or "they walk over". not at all good because its all about a secret boyfriend her sister has and its not at all detailed. definitely not a good choice for advanced readers like me. its boring and no description. to understand what i mean, preview the first chapter. MY ADVISE: DO NOT CHOOSE THIS BOOK UNLESS YOU LIKE QUICK AND BORING READS.

This book was an amazing page turner that I would definitely recommend.

I thought this book would be good, however it was a let down. The main character is very naive, and you aren't really getting the full gist of the book. It also covers some very mature topics which the main character (she's 12 or so) doesn't understand. Also the mother's character is really bad. She thinks she is *basically* superior to younger people when she tells the main characters teacher that she is wrong and "my child doesn't have a problem learning".

This is a great book! I liked it because it was a page-turner and very interesting. I also enjoyed it because the it is set in the '60s which, I like. It is a nice length and I would definitely recommend. (P.S. It does have one mild swear word in it)

This book had an intriguing theme and was certainly a page turner. With great dynamic characters and many plot twists on the way - I would recommend.
