This book was pretty accurate about the soviet union and how strict it was and how hard it was to leave or to see any other part of the world.
So good 😊😀😄😃😁😆
I think this book is very good because it shows how hard it is to be diverse in a country that does not support diversity. His family stands out but they don't let that stop them. I liked this book so much that I immediately checked out another one of Eugene Yelchin's books at the library. I recommend Breaking Stalin's Nose and Spy Runner too.
This book is a non fiction story about members of a poor family that are struggling to live a comfortable life during the Cold War. The book had many emotions that you can come across including happy, sad, and melancholy.
