This book was a bit of a challenge, death is a difficult subject for many folks. Evie was around death all the time since her parent's worked at the funeral home...I guess it became common for her to be around it. She had experience so she was able to help Oren when he lost his mom and dad suddenly and he became an orphan. Slowly they became friends and he was able to let go some of his grief.

You had to get to chapter 5 or so to enjoy it this book. It was good then, but I didn't like how long you had to wait.

i loved everything about this book and i would recommend this to anyone who loves a good story.5 stars!

It was a good book about friendship but if you read it be prepared to be sad.
