I really liked this book because it was very relatable. I like the way the author was very expressive and I really felt for Trudie often. For example, when she went to the library when the rest of her class was in music singing christmas carols and when her dad got her trying to save her brother. It is told in verse, which I didn't know anything about or ever read before before I read this book. If you don't know what verse is, it is basically the same as normal formatting, except it is in little mini paragraphs with 1-2 sentences in them broken up in pieces.
Interesting book very good. the only bad thing is its written in poems. I recommend for 8-10 year olds.
This is a heartwarming book about a girl named Trudie who struggles to be accepted my many people and School since she is Jewish. This book has a happy ending and is a very wonderful book.
This book is awesome! I definitely would recommend this book!
I loved this book because it teaches you not to be a bully at school even if someone is different than you. It also teaches you that neighbors can be very helpful. You should read this book. It has really short chapters which makes you want to read more.
