A great book that shows what it was like to be a Jew back then. It has a great storyline to it! I really recommend!
It is a short read, but it is worth reading.
Short, sweet book about a jewish girl being bullied about her true self.
In 1962, Trudie Hamburger was the only Jewish student in Colburn. She used to hide in the library to avoid singing Christian songs in music class. However, she later overcomes her fears and learns to embrace her uniqueness, which gives her the confidence to say her name proudly.
I loved this book. However, I dont think it is for the older kids or the youger ones. Maybe in the middle. It is good in my opinion. Otheres may not think so. Over all I loved this book. Especially the plot.
