I really like the "Who Was?" books. I thought the story was really interesting, and I was amazed at all the twists and turns of Levi Strauss's life. I thought it was a good way to learn about some history, too.

really focuses on the life of levi and before he set up the business levi's. Overall very interesting and good.

I LEARNED A TON OF STUFF about the person who made jeans. like most "Who Was" books, this book is an awesome and educational read.

I love who was what was and this was one of my favorite books that I've read from the who was what was.I also like what was d day and much more!

I read this book and I learned a lot about jeans and about the history of the California gold rush. I definitely recommend this book to people who like other Who Was books
