This is a book about a girl who gets so scared when standing in front of people. Because of this, she doesn't want to go to her own Bat Mitzvah. Now, there were things that seemed... unrealistic. Probably because she can have the bravery to start food fights but can't bear the thought about going to her Bat Mitzvah. This book was overall good, so I'd still give it a fair shot.

It's so fun to read about all the things Ellie does just to ruin her batmitzah instead of just telling her parents she doesn't want 2 have 1. It's was also fun to read about all of her friend drama.

I didn't like that she was so afraid of her bat mitzvah. It didn't feel realistic. I liked that she writes about how she's going to die; it's a funny thing.
