The book was very good and I liked how different chapters showed different perspectives. Its also good if you like historical fiction.

This book, based on real events is a thrilling of life,death,family and love.

This book was so rich it made me cry a few times! I totally recommend this book to kids who like historical fiction and want to learn about the disaster at the Chernobyl Power Plant. I also like it because each chapter is written from three different perspectives: Valentina, Oksana and Rifka. It creates little cliffhangers at the end of each chapter and was a sound idea from the author.
