I didn’t appreciate the emphasis on crushes for kids my age.

The Music Man is one of my favorites so reading about it in a middle school perspective was amazing.

im in chorus at my school so very relatable. i liked how she was playing a boy. it was very funny. 9/10 reccomend!

I like that the characters are all relatable in their own ways. Like, every character had some aspect of real life that was relatable in middle school, not just the protagonist. Even the antagonist was relatable in many ways!
