There are some things that are actually wrong with the book. The writer tells you in the back. I don't like that they decided to put something that's incorrect in the book. I liked how Jonathan flew sideways into another guy in the first fight scene. I thought it was funny.

freindship and has alot of adventure

I loved reading about the friendship between the Greek and Jew. I like that they stayed friends no matter what and remained friends even after the war.

This book describes the timeline very well and it shows that some of the Jews could of been friends with the Greeks so it made it hard while some of the people were trying to get the friends separated. That's a lot like this book because there where two boys who looked around eleven or twelve, and they became friends but a few months later the war started and they got pulled apart. One day there was an ambush from the Jews when they were fighting the two friends were fighting each other, when Jason (the Greek boy) did a move that Jonathan ( the Jew boy) tot him and thats when they notice that they are friends and ended the war!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😁

This was a good book but it was too short. That’s why it only gets 3 stars. It’s about the story of the Maccabees.
