Shield of the Maccabees is a good book about two boy (Jason and Jonathan) who live in the city of Sebate they do every thing together and when they find them selfs on opposing sides of a battle field they...what? read this book to find out.

I liked how Jason and Jonathan do every thing together

I really this book because there's two different religions and these two kids meet up together to learn about each others religions. There is also a big battle, and something really magical happens in the end! You have got to read this book!

I love how the Boy's are Brave and you learn about History!

I did not get the overall point, but I knew it was something to do with a good friendship between friends in a difficult time. That is why I think that it is a good book.
