I did not like this book because it did not catch my eye and I started reading halfway and I didn’t like it so I started reading it one more time and I just couldn’t bring myself to finish it, but I do think this book is Fine and great for poetry lovers

The story moved so slowly I couldn't keep going. Also, the poetry wasn't what I expected, so I didn't like it as much as I thought I would.

It was an awesome story over all but the poetry format made it just a little hard to read. Other then that, it's just AWESOME! This is such a heartwarming book! It is about two kids who become friends despite their many differences. One of the kids, Malia, was diagnosed with a bad case of eczema that reached her face. Some of the kids even start calling her 'The Creature.' Then Etan comes, a kid who has recently lost his mother and hasn't talked since. When the two kids meet over Malia's dragon mailbox, Etan is determined that the magic healing clay his grandfather gave him will clear up all of Malia's eczema. And while all of this is happening, terrible earthquakes run throughout the town, breaking down buildings but forming new and stronger emotional bonds. This book is great for anyone who likes books written in verse. It is a wonderful book, although sad at parts.
