Had a fun time reading this book

I like how it was broken into poems. It was cool seeing it from the characters point of view.

A great migration story

Review by Jaytbooks

The Magical Imperfect is a story about community, tradition and bravery. In these pages we meet Etan and Malia who come from strong family trees. Both hear stories from there parents and grandparents about there migration and the struggles they faced. They are taught to hold onto these stories and remnants from there past as they face there own struggles today. The writing in this #epistolary novel was beautifully poetic. Nature was a big theme and the scenes that were shared easily came to mind. I loved watching the magic of friendship and the healing powers it portrayed. “She told me that sometimes we have to make hard choices, the kind that grate against your gut, that hurt, but you still know they’re the right thing to do. You have to try, have faith, even if you don’t always know what will happen.”

A poetic gateway to happiness

Review by LTinuviel

I liked the way this book had both magic and realistic parts. The characters' friendship was inspiring, including the way they worked together through hard times and disabilities.

Really Good!

I loved this book! It's about two people who are a little bit different coming out into the world. It was heartwarming, beautiful, and a tiny bit magical.
