I think this book is interesting because it teaches you about people who have to overcome difficult things in life. It was interesting how their friends and family react to their struggles.

I thought this book was okay. Kids can be mean, and no one likes to be made fun of, so I can relate to the girl. I don’t understand a lot of poetry. I think it was good they formed a friendship and helped each other out, but it wasn’t magical. No spell needed.
