this book is the best it's about always putting your heart into anything you do.
Very sweet story. There really isn't anything jewish about it though. Rugeluch aren't specifically Jewish. It was a nice story but nothing about this book would inspire anything Jewish. I appreciated the fact that there was no romance between the main characters, just friendship.
Quite exciting, I mean a pair of literal opposites paired up for a competition worth $150,000. A very good plot too. In conclusion I rather enjoyed the book. I recommend it to aspiring bakers.
This is a story about two kids named Jack and Jillian. They both write an essay about themselves and submit the essay in the contest. They are both selected to go on a baking show. The host of the baking show knows about Jillian and he knows her Mother died. He wants her to say it on T.V and she doesn't want to say it. Do Jack and Jillian win the contest? What do they make? Find out in the story, The 150,000 dollar Rugelach!!!!!
I loved it!!! It was super exciting and near the end, I was on the edge of my seat! Also, I liked how they included recipes for chocolate rugelach, Butterscotch Basil Brownies and lemon bars.
