You should pick this. It is filled with friendship, food, and so much fun story ahead!
Okay, so first of all — this book was way more fun than I thought it would be. I mean, it's about rugelach (those little cookie things my grandma eats), but it turned out to be awesome. There’s a kid named Yehuda who gets caught up in this wild contest, and somehow, a super old family recipe becomes, like, a HUGE deal. We're talking a $150,000 kind of deal. What I liked most was that Yehuda felt like a real kid, not some perfect hero, but someone who gets nervous and makes mistakes, but still keeps trying. There were funny parts too (like seriously laugh-out-loud stuff with his family), and also moments where I got really into it because I wanted to see what would happen next. Like, would he win? Would someone steal the recipe?? There’s a bit of mystery and a lot of heart. The characters were cool — I especially liked Yehuda’s little sister, who was kind of annoying but in a funny way, like my own sister. And the ending? I didn’t see it coming, but it made me smile.
Jack and Jillian both love baking and are complete opposites but when they get chosen to represent their school in a baking contest jack learns sometimes small things are the sweetest
The. BEST BOOK OF ALL TIME
