Really an exciting book to read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
pretty good book. I would def recommend it for people who love cooking. my fav character was def Jillian. jack not so much lol. ima just say some of the parts in this book confused me but overall great book. y'all should get it if u see this.
This book was wonderful to read. The two main characters, Jack and Jillian, have a lot in common yet a lot of differences. The main ones are that Jillian is focused on her past and Jack is focused on his future, Jack likes to stand out and Jillian likes to be unnoticed, and Jack wants to be world-famous and Jillian doesn't even want her classmates to know her name. I love that there are recipes for Joan Mermelstein's Extraordinary Chocolate Rugelach, Fineman's Fine Butterscotch Basil Brownies, and Oooh La La Lemon Bars in the back. But I must tell you that the book can get a little sad - Jillian's mother, Joan Mermelstein, passed away and Jillian recalls some sad and faded memories of her and is always sad to think of or mention her mother. I want to tell you much more, but it would spoil the book too much! I highly recommend you choose this book, especially if you like baking, friendship, humour, and competition!
it was pretty good but was long and didn't suck me in the way some books do. I thought about stopping a few times but I kept reading. It made me fall asleep so if you're reading it at night ( which I was ) it's good. so yeah. 😊
It was very good and the rugelach was delish. Also it had a great storyline but somethings got mentioned at wrong moment.
