Loved reading this shortly before I went to summer camp! The timing was perfect and got me extra excited. I go with my cousin and can't imagine what it would be like if I didn't know anyone else. She's brave!
This book was so good and I read it over and over again till I received another book from PJ Library, and while I'm typing this I am thinking to myself that I want to read it again right now! It was such a heartwarming book and I felt like I was standing in the pages right there! I even brought this book to sleep away camp ! Whoever is reading these reviews should definitely, hands down, of course, get this book!!!!! : )
This book was awesome. If you have been to an overnight camp, I think you would really enjoy this book. A story about a girl who goes to his overnight camp and she thinks that she's going with her friend. But then her friend ends up going to horse camp so she's stuck at the camp by herself. But she needs a new friend and has an amazing time. She also meets a boy who has a lifelong disease. When cheese finds out that he has a disease, she gets really sad but it still has a very happy ending, so I definitely recommend this book. If you're having a hard time deciding between other books, this book is really just amazing. I love it so much. Definitely definitely choose it
This was an amazing book, I highly recommend it. I loved every part of it. Joanne Levy is an incredible author!
Bea has so many relatable moments of many feelings. As well as stage fright, crushes, stress, friendship struggles, and homesickness, she also deals with many other things. For instance, she gets hives because of her stress and it embarrasses her when she goes to camp. When she goes to the infirmary though she finds her “silver lining”, a boy named Harry who has progeria (a rare disease that causes people to age much quicker) until she secretly researches it and finds out that he might only have a few months left to live! She is devastated. Then just as she is recovering ❤️🩹 , Regan a friend from her cabin has to leave to go to the hospital to see her grandmother and bea has to take over the lead in Annie, the camp play. Can she conquer her stage fright, encourage Harry to join camp activities and get over realizing her huge crush doesn’t like her and even kissed someone else? Read this AWSOME book to find out.
