The book was great I definitely recommend it. Its about a girl who moves from New York City to a motel out in the country because her dad lost his job so they bought a motel, the main character Miriam has to help with the motel while taking care of her younger brother Sammy. When Miriam's family is running low on money, they move into a motel and plan to run it for a few years to earn more money and then move back to the country. But then they realize that the motel really isn't getting anywhere, and almost no one is coming to the motel. What can Miriam do to help her family (with her friend Kate)? I really liked this book and also the part were they make business possible in such a place.
