the book was awesome. Lauren and Tara try out to be in a school play but when they find out that they both got different parts in the play they went to ask Mrs. Tyndall the director she says Lauren isn't her all American girl. Read more to find out what happens next.

this book was great but I accidentally took a sneak peek of the end. The character has a great amount of ambition she stood up for herself she has two squabbling grandmothers and they adopted a kitten!

Lauren and Tara are best friends. They decide to try out for a play where the main character is Brenda Sue, a classic American girl. Tara gets the part, but Lauren is stuck in the ensemble... because she's Chinese.

The book was great. I loved it. Whenever I saw things would go good, it went bad and I was never close to the end of the book book it felt like it was endless. I totally love this book.I recommend it for you

I think that this is a great book because its main character is kinda like me. I think you would LOVE ❤️ this book. The character and I are alike because we both loved to sing. It's a suspenceful read, but it's not scary. That's why you'll want to read this book.
