This book is about a Chinese girl that wants to be in a play and she knows that she will get a big part but she is wrong because the director doesn’t like that she is Jewish and Chinese but Lauren figures a way to wiggle out of her problem read the book to find out the rest !!!!!!

I really liked this book a lot because it is kind of like a sequel to This is just a test but it is also kind of like the beginning of the story. But what makes this book special is how it can relate to a lot of people maybe not the Chinese part specifically but a lot of us have been made fun of for being Jewish (i am speaking with personal experience) but we all try out for stuff and get told we are not good enough so I really felt connected to Lauren during the whole book. I liked the plot in this book, it was fun.

It's a great book for people who love acting and singing. If you've read Upstaged you are almost guaranteed to enjoy this
