Really enjoyed the book, very good story, perfect bed time reading.
It’s a touching story, but I found that some of the events were in a confusing order. I also think the author could have provided more of a backstory about some things, but other things it made you so uncomfortable that it was like TMI! (Too much information). Overall, it was a pretty good book. Sad though. If you cry at sad books, though, be warned. I would reccomend this for kids 9 and over, or maybe 10, because it includes death and illness.
This is an amazing book for people who love long books, exiting books, and a little sadness in them. You have to read this!!
Turtle Boy is a great book because, it shows kids how to be responsible and kind. Will is a role model for everyone. Will is a fictional character who visits RJ (a sick kid) in the hospital. It is genuinely a sad book. There is some death and surgery in it. P.S. Helga very inspiring video.
The story is really well structured and kept me locked in from the start. The protagonist goes through change from getting bullied, to completing volunteer hours and much more during his formative stage of life; it was really emotional at times.
