Several times, I found myself struggling to breathe, overcome by emotion. Several times, I nearly cried. Great book, but I'm only 9, so it was a little heavy. Wouldn't recommend to people who have lost loved ones.

i've read this book in the library 10+ times, and the second I saw it here i knew i needed ittttttt. Will is a character facing realistic challenges in life. Bullies, health problems, and especially b'nai mitzvah prep. He needs to find a way to navigate through all of these things while worrying about his friend who is in a critical condition. 98765632578/10 SO GOOD
