Amazing book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review by StellaLeiber

This was one of the best books I’ve EVER read!! 🤩 it was also very sad but I still really recommend it!!!! It is a book about a boy named Will who loves turtles, and has a good friend in a hospital that is very sick. I recommend this book a lot! I almost cried while reading this book, and I laughed a lot as well. You should definitely read this book!

Will and RJ

Review by AHA

A few years ago I read Wonder. There are two differences between August (the kid in Wonder) and Will (the kid in Turtle Boy). First, August has a problem with all his face and Will only has a problem with his chin. Second, August isn't Jewish. Now the book. Will is really shy. He's only happy when he's walking the trails behind his school or working on his turtle collection. So you can imagine he isn't too thrilled about spending 36 hours with a 16-year-old boy named RJ in the hospital for his upcoming bar mitzvah. Will's scared of hospitals because his father died during surgery eight years ago. Born in Hawaii, RJ's mother died when he was six, and his family moved to Wisconsin. Then RJ was diagnosed with a cell disease and moved to a hospital. Rabbi Harris heard about RJ's condition and began sending his bar mitzvah kids to RJ's hospital. I can't write more because then this will hit the 1000-character limit.

Okay but not my favorite

Review by SlytherinGirl

I can relate to this book but sometimes it was a little confusing. The book talked a lot about diseases which wasn't very fun. I liked the characters, but it was a little sad at the end.
