This book is about a girl named Darya who lived in the palace during Esther's time and Purim. Darya helped the women in the palace read and send letters to their families they were taken from. She was strong, despite being of lower status, and stood up to bullies and cruel masters. I highly recommend this book and enjoyed it.

This was such a great book. I wish there was a sequel!

This book is really good. It's the story of queen Esther but not about her, about her handmaidens. This an exciting book with a lot of history mixed in!
