If you like sports you are going to love this!

Like a Maccabee really made me think about the true meaning of Chanukah and how it effects your every day life. A soccer team against a really hard soccer team relates to The Maccabees against Antiochus and his army which was a whole lot bigger than the Maccabees. This book teaches you that if you try, then your a winner even if you lose. A must read for all.

the book was all about sports and standing up for yourself and your friends. there was also a bully which would make me feel bad for David if it was real life

It was probably the best jewish book I have ever read.

It was a great book because I liked it being about soccer. There was also a bully in this book which made me feel bad for the main character. I would recommend this book for people who like soccer.
