My 10 year old and I loved reading this book together. It kept us in suspense and we really enjoyed the writing style. It also taught my son a few Yiddish words along the way.

I did not like that Mr. Doom beat Dave up. I did like that Dave got to go to fancy parties and break out of the HHB at night.

Eleven-year-old Dave Caros is quite an adventurer! I love the nicknames for the Hebrew Home for Boys. My two favorites were Happy House of Bullies and Honking House of Bells! This is my favorite book so far. Read this book NOW!!!!

this book was good. it wasn't the best, but it was still pretty adventurous.

I love this book. I hope to read many more by this author!
