I love the fantasy theme, and it ties in with Jewish culture at the same time! The characters are great and I love Mirka. I highly recommend this book to people who like fantasy!!

it was really good but it should be MUCH longer

Although I liked this book, there was just so much going on that there may have been a bit TOO much. First there was the fish, then Layele, then the mysterious package that never came...All in all a good book, just a bit too much character-wise for the casual reader.

I think this book was really good and I could feel the characters emotions and I had many OH! AH! Please save her moments. It was easy to follow and it felt like I was watching a movie! They should make this into a movie! Also, I love Mirkas character ! Anyway, GREAT BOOK!

Interesting, Adventurous, yet kind of confusing! It also had really deep concept of being jewish not like in "How to Survive Middle School".
