This Is realistic, and shows the holocaust through a little girl's perspective. This would be a good starting point if you don't know anything about the holocaust.

Hidden was full of emotions and I could compare it to the biography of Ann Frank. This book teaches you how in life it's not always cupcakes and rainbows; and learned how jewish people had to hide from being assassinated from the German. It made me so sad to hear that a lot of people got killed in those times. Otherwise, it was a great book
