this book is touching and reminds me of how horrible the Nazis treated the Jews.
This is a good story about friends and family. This also includes a lot of history, it talks about a little bit of the holocaust but in a unique way. The perspective is in another character in Canada but it wasn't quite 2nd person view. This was also about getting used to a new life and setting. The characters were also strong and unlike another book, unique. Although some parts like the end are cinematic or victorious. I have thought of better endings but this books ending isn't the worst. Conclusion: This book was entertaining and slightly suspenseful. It shows that people from different backgrounds have different thoughts but unlike people are still alike in many ways. Also keep in mind what seems real may be a fake and without proof, don't came to conclusions. The holocaust effected many people regardless of age and this book realy represented that in a new way and proved that people with bad pasts, can change with their own will.
I did not enjoy this book. I didn't understand the plot and the book is just horrible. I would have preferred Room for One Mare where someone gets a horse.
this book makes you feel like your really in the past with the the family in the book!
I thought this would be a regular story but I loved it. The setting in Canada, the family story, the ending. All beautiful and nice, in a sad and happy way, all at the same time.
