It was a heartwarming story, full of action. But it was a kind of predictable book and there were not any cliffhangers. I would prefer a less serious book. It was too easy to read for me. But,I would still recommend this to adventurous readers looking for a touching,exciting story

COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN!!!!

I loved this book because it is about a school play of Fiddler on the Roof and I love the musical Fiddler on the Roof.

This book had so many twists and turns and throughout the story i learned a lot about the Holocaust and want to learn more about it! It also had some talk about boys and the relationship between Shirli and Ben. I also love musical theater and could really relate to the main character. I myself felt like i was talking to Zayde and asking him questions about the Holocaust. This book is also cool because it takes place after 9 /11 so life has gotten harder for some characters. It also is hard for Shirli and her family because they just lost Shirli's grandmother Bubbie. This is a great book and it is now my favorite.
