This book is GREAT! I totally recommend it.(:
This book had so many twists and turns and throughout the story i learned a lot about the Holocaust and want to learn more about it! It also had some talk about boys and the relationship between Shirli and Ben. I also love musical theater and could really relate to the main character. I myself felt like i was talking to Zayde and asking him questions about the Holocaust. This book is also cool because it takes place after 9 /11 so life has gotten harder for some characters. It also is hard for Shirli and her family because they just lost Shirli's grandmother Bubbie. This is a great book and it is now my favorite.
This book is about how the US tries to heal itself after 9/11 and a girl, Shirli who’s in the play fiddler on the roof. Shirli discovers some dark secrets about her grandfather’s past.
You really feel what is happening while learning a little bit about the holocaust.
It did make me cry…………. but if you are a book critic like me, you should know if that a book makes you cry then that author is SERIOUSLY talented!
