this book is so good it made me cry. this is a book about a girl named shirli who is going out for the school play. she goes out for the role of holden but gets a different role instead. even though she is disappointed she decides to embrace her role, so she goes to her grandpas attic to look for props and well lets just say dust is not the only thing she finds!
IT is such a powerful story and it touches my hear. I love the way the author described how it was like to be in the holocaust and how hard it was without just going up and saying it. It makes the book interesting the way the author wrote it. Basically what i'm saying is it's really good, AND READ IT NOW. (But of course you have to get it first!)
I liked how her Grandpa told his story to her even when it hurt.
This was a great story for those who love theater, violin, and learning about Holocaust history. It's really touching, and you can connect to the characters. I totally recommend this book!
THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD BOOK!!!!! So interesting
