This is a SUPERB book that looks like a comic book with lots of images in color. If your bat or bar mitzvah is coming soon, this is a good choice. If you really like the author and illustrator Raina Telgemeier you will love this book. The book is a bit thick but it's not too long.

At first becoming Brianna was boring -- NOT MY TYPE! Maybe you’re thinking “HEY, THIS BOOK ISN’T GOOD FOR YOU!” hey now read the rest of it. but later it was the fun part.in the story it’s almost Brianna’s bat mitzvah, and she’s nervous that she will not do well (tried to learn 6 years before her bat mitzvah, did not do well) and she has a bad habit of barfing every now and then and has it in times that Brianna should barf and times that she should not barf. I know it’s kind of weird. But maybe she’s just to scared that she throws up in the middle of everyone.

I think the book Becoming Brianna is pretty good, but it could be better. I feel that the popular girls were really annoying though.
